Overview of Psychology in the first 23 years of the 21st century

Abstract

This article responds to a reflection of the author on the state of Psychology and the training of the Psychologist in the first two decades of this century, is described in a context of high uncertainty in which the cognitive-behavioral model predominates broadly, the most relevant subfields of cognitive psychology are listed in this period because it seems to predominate this orientation in the training of professionals who graduate from universities and highlights, the proportions of professionals trained in psychology in Venezuela and in some other countries of the global scope, pointing out some differences between them
