Aspectos fundamentales de los sistemas de representación de los trabajadores en la junta directiva

Resumen


Partiendo de los hallazgos obtenidos por Jackson (2005), en este ensayo se define la cogestión en términos de la representación de los trabajadores en la junta directiva, se describen las características de la cogestión en 22 países de la OECD, y se describen los patrones transnacionales de cogestión basados en la gobernanza corporativa, las relaciones laborales, los sistemas políticos y el marco legal. Con este ensayo se espera contribuir al debate contemporáneo acerca de la representación de los trabajadores en el gobierno corporativo.

 

Based on the findings obtained by Jackson (2005), codetermination is defined in this paper in terms of coworker representation on the board, features of codetermination in 22 OECD countries are described, and transnational patterns of codetermination are also described based on corporate governance, labor relations, the political system and the legal system. It is expected to contribute to the contemporary debate on the representation of employees in corporate governance.
